Nancy Rommes is a skilled photographer with a keen eye and a knack for communicating visually what she sees and feels in the landscape. Although she has been photographing people and places for over two decades, Nancy is currently producing landscape images for www.IrisArts.com, a company she co-owns with Don, that provides evidence-based nature photography for the healthcare environment. She also owns www.TravelAudios.com, a company that has long promoted public awareness and appreciation for the natural beauty and complexity of America’s National Parks.

 

While delighting in the pristine beauty of the uninhabited landscape, Nancy’s love of people often compels her to include a human presence (implied or real) as an important element of her photographs. Her nuanced understanding of the natural world as well as the restorative effects of nature on the human spirit, are evident in Nancy’s work as a photographer.
