We'd like to introduce you to the owners of Iris Arts, Don and Nancy Rommes. You will see their photographs in the galleries of Iris Arts they will be the primary authors of the upcoming blog posts.
One of the things we'd like to do with the blog is to give our viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of some of our photographs—the location, the composition, and the post-processing. We hope to discuss the reasons an image was either selected or rejected for the website. We think it will be fun and give the viewer insight into the whole process.
These blogs may come in the form of writing and/or narration, but they will sometimes be in the form of a video. That's new to us. We are primarily still photographers, so we'll have to learn new skills (and Don will need to find a way to be more relaxed on camera).
We think you may find the content interesting it might be fun to watch us ascend the leaning curve. Speaking for ourselves, we are very curious to see how and if we progress as videographers. Watch this space!
