East Moody Canyon and Hyde's Wall

Updated: Feb 13, 2023

Finally in East Moody Canyon, our efforts were rewarded by the sight of a remarkable blue canyon wall.

After a difficult trek to East Moody, we didn't have as much time to explore as we had hoped. We hiked up canyon, photographed Hyde's Wall and, another 1/2 mile up canyon, photographed a large alcove. We then found a small spring, loaded up with water, and headed back. The following short video shows more of the trip described in the previous post.

Short cell phone video of my deliberations before hiking to East Moody, a look at the blue Wingate walls and my thoughts on the hike after my return to Main Moody.
